Igor Krum is a main antagonist in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.

Background[]

Igor Krum was a historian who had an unusual liking in the method of impalement and used it has his preferred method while working as the Pahkan of the Russian Mafia. He has always had an Anti-Western view and despised any form of relations with the United States. As a result; he organised the "Four Horseman" for the Second Russian Civil War from shadows and made them think the idea was there own while instigating an global attack by tricking his government with false data and information on an attempt from the UK and US to use the Arctic as testing areas for a new type of nuclear warhead.

As a result Zahkaev and few others formed the Ultranationalist fixed with his ideas fuelled by Igor's falsehoods and lies. Igor continued to undermine the Russian government until he made his first appearance during the final stages of World War III and proved his methods worked as he took power.

Biography[]

Igor was the President of the Ultranationalists. He's first heard in Call of Duty: Nuclear War 2 and seen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. He originally planned to assassinate Boris to gain Presidency over Russian and to get the Secret Service to help, but instead chose to execute all high Russian Government Official in order to establish the Second Tsardom of Russia. He kills Josh Rogers and Phantom but is later killed by Sergeant McLaren.

  • He is the first Antagonist to be a President or Totaliirian on screen.
  • Igor bares some resemblances to Niko Bellic, Imran Zakheav, and Captain Price.
  • He's mostly based upon Vlad the Impaler despite some thinking that he is based on the Russian politician Vladimir Lenin.
