History Planet is a TV channel based that, hence its name, teaches history. It mostly shows history from World War II and before, but occasionally has programming after that era (such as the Outworld War). The most common time periods shown on History Planet are both world wars, the American Wild West, the Great Depression, the Middle Ages, battle between the Elder Gods and antiquity (including Ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome, events from the Holy Bible and Mortal Kombat Tournaments), though there's TONS of others it shows. It also contains stuff about organised crime like The Five Families Mob War and all of the following events concerning the Barzini Family. It also broadcasts historical and organised crime-related movies and sometimes talks about secret societies, like Dixmor Project. At around midnight, the channel loves to talk about the planets and ancient aliens and how they may have built the pyramids in Egypt. Other subjects include dinosaurs, mythical creatures, natural disasters, alternate history, inventors, authors, artists, and composers. And also stuff and competitions involving pawn shops, hunting, fishing, antiques dealerships, and automobiles. A reality TV show called Extreme Terror also broadcasts on this channel.
Carl Degrasse Dawkins, Algernon Papadopoulos, Peter Kowalski, Ethan Allen Fernandez, Angel Amparan, and Hunter Jones, are all fans of this channel. Harold Krakauer would also watch this channel, and was even interviewed in one of the channel’s documentaries about World War I. Thad Carlson used to be a huge fan of this channel, but only occasionally watches it today. Thad wrote a rant, and made a YouTube video about why History Planet sucks now, and thinks that reality shows, certain movies, and shows about ancient aliens, should have never aired on the channel.
Despite being called a history channel and showing a ton of history, it also spreads and shows a bunch of BS, usually biased as heck.
