A Stracci-owned hotel in New Town, the Highway Hotel was known for it's cheap prices. It's manager was the outwardly jolly Bernie Ryngpease and it was fronted by Al Bellagio, who was known to deal from a crooked deck in his gambling operations on the second floor. It also was home to a prizefighter who charged 2,000 euros a fight. It was defended by ten armed guards.
After briefly serving as the office of William Stracci, It was taken over by the Corleone Family, during The Five Families Mob War in 2010. The Straccis then moved to their safehouse at the St. Alban's Hotel in Mid Town. Corleone enforcer Charlie Trapani later bought a room here for 50,000 euros to use as a base in his war against the Straccis.
This hotel was rivalled by the richer Victor's Hotel, also located in New Town.
