The High Stakes Poker game is one of the most (if not the most) expensive gambling activities in the Wild West, requiring $250 to sit in on the throne. This is more than double of Gold Town and Brimstone's normal poker table money. Since the player is surrounded by some people of authority while playing this poker, cheating is not advisable and even a slight glare at the opponent's side can end with you being thrown out on the streets and being shot at. Starting with a full table, it is possible to make $1250 dollars in one throne sitting if not even more, lot of more. The High Stakes poker room is located on the second floor near the bathroom in the Gold Town Hotel and the room is defended by two to three Gold Town Police Department officers and at least one sheriff, all who more or less carry shotguns.
As of today, the High Stakes Poker games still exist, but the said activity has changed its name to the Cornet Million tournament and is rivalled only by the blackjack game called Blackjack Xtreme, invented by the Cornet's then-rivals, the Dixmor Dynasty.

Trivia[]
- The design of the pictures on the cards seem to be inspired by Mexican-style skull art, particularly the depictions of the face cards, as a lot of characters seem to have only their skulls for heads.
- Frank Kenson, America's former dictator, is a big fan of the High Stakes Poker games and he sometimes plays it with his cabinet (his high-ranking men) when on off-duty. Due to the fear of their leader, Kenson almost always wins all of the chips and doesn't need to invest in anything. The investors and stock holders instead just throw all their chips at him for the sake of their life.
- In Mexico, Colonel Allende liked to play High Stakes Poker with his men.
