Hernandez's Slaughterhouse is a large slaughterhouse located in Riverside owned by Lucas Hernandez, it plays a role in the mission Bacon n' Beans.
History[]
It served as a front for the Marina Family, its main product is pork meat where it is distributed by trucks throughout the city of New York. It also served as the location where the Marina family usually torture and kill their rivals, as well as suspected associates within the other rival family.
In 1977, the Marina family kidnapped Harvey Epstein, Antonio Balsamo and Frankie the Mick then took them to the slaughterhouse to be interrogated, Vito Corleone was ordered by the Falcone Family to follow Lucas Hernandez in hope of finding their whereabouts. Vito sneaks in by going through the sewers and manage to enter the slaughterhouse, unfortunately Frankie was killed by Lucas while being tortured by him, but he was able to save Harvey and Antonio. A large scale shootout occurs, which resulted in the deaths of many Marina thugs, Lucas was later killed by Harvey and Antonio by using the meat grinder. Slaughterhouse trucks can still be seen all around the city of New York, even after the death of Don Marina. Henry Tomasino at least partially worked at the slaughterhouse, probably as an enforcer, before the incident at the Cody's Hotel, since radio reports stating that he was "a man in the meat packing business" can be heard in Stairway to Heaven, the day after his brutal murder in Lincoln Park.
