Gus Ballard is a minor character featured in Red Dead Redemption American West and a boss in Red Dead Revolver 3dn edition.

Info[]

Gus Ballard is an bandit and member of the British's Gang and Ugly Gang.

Interactions[]

Revolver[]

"Gas" Ballard is the second boss faced during the mission Silver Town (Mission) in Silver Town, immediately after killing the three snipers. Though not particularly dangerous, his shotgun can send an enemy to the ground with a single shot. Like the other gang members, "Gas" has a bounty on his head, dead or alive $100. He is killed by Jack Marston during the mission.

Showdown Mode[]

Gus is available as a playable character in Showdown Mode. He is available from the start of the game and does not need to be unlocked.

American West[]

Gus can most often be found around Tim's Town, loitering inside the saloon and around the hotel. He can also be encountered at the Fort Mercer Gang Hideouts in Free Roam but he will be attacked by a boar. He may also be among the gang that has taken over Warthington Ranch in free roam.

Journal Entry[]

Almost every gang member is handsomer than old Ballard. When Gus first came to Silver Town, Ugly Chris hired him first, and Gus was first member of the Ugly Gang. Leg Johnson was hiding behind the walls in saloon, as he knew he was no match for Gus Ballard.

Trivia[]

  • Gus is one of only two members of the British Gang to wear a duster coat, the other being Slink Breadshaw.
  • Gus, Blacky Billeray and Verner Corn are the only members of the British gang that are not bounty targets.
  • Gus and Blacky are the only African-American members of the British's Gang.
