Guido Vittanese is a character in the American Crime Tales series who appears as a character in Queen City Underground. He is voiced by John Michael Gambetti.

Background[]

Guido Vittanese was born in 1930 in Sicily, Italy and immigrated to America when he was 15. As a young boy he became part of the Gambinuchi Crime Famiy under Enzo Gambinuchi, rising through the ranks to establish himself as a well-known and respected yet extremely feared member of the family. During the 1970's, he opened up several businesses in the Queen City area, most notably The Guido club in the Red Light District.

Events of Queen City Underground[]

Guido is first introduced in the first chapter of the game as Aiden McCreary is working for him at his club with Mario Montinelli and Jimmy Pegorini. After fending off several patrons attacking a stripper, the protagonist Aiden McCreary is introduced to Guido who calls his boss, Ricardo Gambinuchi and informs him of Aiden's skills in dealing with people. Guido orders Mario and Jimmy to bring him to the Gambinuchi Estate where he introduces Ricardo to Aiden. After this, Aiden helps Guido with keeping the club in order and after all his missions are completed, the player unlocks club work side missions where he helps Guido with the clubwork. Aiden can interact with Guido, whom will tell stories and jokes about his life. What happens to him after the events of the game is the fact that he dies in 2002 from unknown causes at the age of 72. Even in 2007, his club remains open with the same name and a portrait of Guido is seen hanging in Mario's office.

Trivia[]

  • Guido was likely to have been in The Ballad of Sean Killian had John Michael Gambetti not died in 2002, a week after the game's release from a stroke.
