Dr. Grupo Fabinović is an immigrant from Vojvodina, Serbia, who came to France's France City in 2008 where he gained fake medical credentials and diplomas from the Stracci Family in order to build the clinic in New Town to heal up their men.
Grupo was also ordered by Stracci Underboss, Salvatore Stracci personally, to heal up the injured members of the Cuneo Family and Barzini Family, as they were their closest allies amongst the Five Families.
Sometimes, however, despite sharing a rivalry with the aforementioned families, Grupo would also heal up members of the Corleone Family for a good, good price.
Today, as most of the Corleones, Straccis and Cuneos have been wiped out of France, Grupo instead heals up wounded mobsters belonging to DeVazzi Family and the Barzini mob.

- Grupo's grandmother was Italian, giving him some Mediterranean roots after all. That would explain why he is voiced by Damian King, who voices mainly Italian characters and would also explain his first name.
- He is one of the two known Slavic (particularly Serbian) proprietors in New Town, the other being Boris Amarović.
