Grizzly is a minor villain character featured in Red Dead Revolver.
Info[]
Grizzly was the leader of the Black Elk Tribe, preceding Running Paw and was hired by General Javier Diego to guard the entrance leading to The Diablo Mine in Mexico. For selling out to Diego, Grizzly and his tribe were disgraced by the other natives even more, as if they weren't hated enough already, mainly by the Red Wolf Tribe.
Interactions[]
Grizzly is the boss of the mission "Devil Mountains", guarding the entrance to the Diablo Mine with Commando Knifes covered in venomous Mushroom Oil. Despite his best efforts of defending the mine, he was killed by Shadow Wolf after being shoot in the head with his rifle. Searching his fallen body, Shadow found the keys needed to unlock his cousin, Red Harlow's jail cell in the mine.
Showdown[]
After completing the level "Devil Mountains" on bounty hunter mode, Grizzly becomes available as a playable character in Showdown. He uses a Pacificador and his knives on claws as default weapons. He also has the ability to grab an opponent and slam him to the ground. Also, despite possessing the unique knives covered in poisonous oil on his claws, he rarely uses them.
Journal Entry[]
Grizzly leads the Black Elk tribe as does Running Moon lead the Red Wolf Tribe. Grizzly's tribe got paid with many modern weapons to fight the Wolves in return for working for Javier Diego as his warriors, protecting gold mines and killing trespassers and such. What used to be a proud history of good, honest Native Americans is now nothing more than a bunch of thugs for hire by the Mexican Army. Diego also uses the Tribe leader's giant stature and bearings to threat and force his silly miners to work more and harder.

Trivia[]
- In Red Dead Revolver 3dn edition, Grizzly's role was replaced by an actual bear: Brumas the Bear.
- Instead of talking like a normal human being, Grizzly howls like a bear. It is possible he does speak "humanely" when need to, as he is the leader of the Black Elk Tribe after all.
