Giovanni Russo was an Italian tailor and a mobster who was affiliated with Phillip Cuneo and his family, becoming initiated into his family in 2010 after the death of Bobby Marcolini. Russo was involved in several attacks on Corleone businesses during the mob war of 2012, and was killed in retaliation.

Owner of Russo Garments, Giovanni Russo did most of his work with the Tattaglia made-men in Crazy Town. And his loyalty to them was strong and he supported both, Tattaglia and Cuneo families during small time-from-time mob wars. During his tenure in his shop, Barzini lawyer Tony Bianchi established an illegal boxing ring in the backroom of the shop, being led by Tattaglia's boxer and capo, Kelly Berry. This ring continued to operate even after Russo became allied to the Corleones by force. But he finally could break off of their alliance in late 2011 after his shop was taken over by the Cuneos.
Death[]
In 2012, FC gambler Lewis Mozai met with Corleone Soldato Dominic when encountered him while driving to the Cuneo Mansion, and Dominic beat down Lewis' old grumpy grandfather in exchange for the knowledge of Russo's location: The casino beneath The Peak hotel. Dominic murdered Giorgio Russo, Giovanni's brother, and threw Russo over the fence on the first floor causing him to fall down to the basement, killing him.
