Giacomo Barcolo was an Old Town policeman, who was known as an ally to the Corleone Family on many occasions.

In 2010, Barcolo was to preside over a murder trial against Tattaglia capo Luigi Fusco, but Fusco was killed by Charlie Trapani in New Town shortly before the trial date.
In 2011, while Giacomo was patrolling the Old Town streets, Trapani bribed Giacomo with 450€ in order to help him take over the Cuneo Mansion for the Corleones.
While clearing the first mansion's basement, Barcolo shot down and killed an angry Marge Cuneo (wife of Phillip Cuneo) as she was attempting to shoot him with a handgun.
The Corleone Underboss, his bodyguard and the cop succeeded in taking over the mansions, and Barcolo even told the Old Town police chief shortly after that the Corleone Family now rules the Old Damned Town and that they should better stay out of their way, to which the chief agreed with, as he himself was bribed by a Corleone mobster to stay out of their way and support them against Cuneos and Straccis who roamed around Old Town.
