Gertrude Sweeney is a little, serial-killing girl from the original comics I hate Fairyland, a realm in the Dreamworld where her as was sent once she croaked. She was once your average school girl from Maine, until she got bullied until she snapped and killed two of her classmates with scissors. Not wanting to get caught, she got hit by a speeding car and her soul descended into the Dreamworld.

Gertrude was the daughter of Bjorn Sweeney, a Viking enthusiast who owned a gun store and a Nordic museum and Gertrude Sr., who worked in an office in a post office. The family lived in Kennebunkport, Maine, US. She loved to dye her blond hair green.
Attending the Dixmor Academy after her family moved to Bullworth, so her dad could open up another museum in the Old Bullworth Vale, Gertrude was a subject of bullying at the hands of older and richer kids, who wanted her to know who was in charge there. After school on weekends, she'd usually went to her dad's old museum, and use one of the fake prop axes to make herself feel strong, pretending to be a Viking conqueror.
Her father, Bjorn Sweeney gave an appearance of a skinny beta of a man, despite his occupation, but his looks shan't fool you as he was quite violent if he needed to be. Gert would ask him on advice about her school bullies, and he'd only reply that a true Sweeney wouldn't allow him or herself be pushed around by anyone, especially not a Yankee.
The Puke-hair tried to take this advice to the heart.
School Incident and Death[]
One particular, rather rainy or moody Wednesday, Greendilocks was pushed to her limit at art class (why is it always art class?) by a kid named Monica and she retaliated in a second by using nearby scissors and cut her throat open. Monica gurgled blood, fall on the floor and spat out and choked. Her friend, Mike, wished to punch Gert, but she stabbed the scissors into his chest, deep until they reached his heart and he fell down as well. Shocked, but not without a hint of evil in her eyes, Gert ran out of the school building, chased by the staff and teachers and ran out onto the street. Not being able to press on the brakes in time, a car hit her and she flew away a couple of feet or metres, hit her head on the sidewalk and died. No more and no less than three lives were taken that day in that lil' town of Bullworth.
After her death, it isn't known where Gertrude's soul was supposed to descent (possibly into the Netherworld, though), but it descended into the Dreamworld. Particularly the Fairyland realm.
Misadventures in Dreamworld[]
In the Dreamworld, she was greeted by Queen Almeida, who happened to be travelling there at the time and she explained to Gert that she was in afterlife now and that this was it. She said that Heavens were ran by Cetrion, her own daughter, while the Dreamworld was ran by someone named Sharp-hand Joe, who no one knows where he'd come from or go. Knowing she'll be there forever and that there ain't no saviour, Almeida gave Gertrude a helpful and a beautifully illustrated map that detailed all the known territories within Dreamworld and showed her the encircled spot that was Fairyland. With that, Gertrude had all she needed, and began her adventure to find out more about this planet and what to do in it.
However, as she began her walk, she couldn't shake off the feeling of how good it was when she killed her two classmates. Perhaps it was in her blood? Knowing this planet was all she had left to do until the end of times, probably, she decided to abandon exploring the world in favour of beating or killing the living daylights out of anything and everyone until she ascends to the throne of the planet.
The first entity she killed was the Dreamworld's living Moon, who annoyed Gert with his shining. Gertrude uses a cannon to kill the moon (though the Moon has in fact survived, being seen in a crescent style later, wrapped in bandages) and then proceeds to kill the stars in the sky as they have been witnesses to her first murder.
After she spends an hour engaged in gambling at the local casino, she robs it when she loses all of her chips, but that only eventually leads to her capture, after which she is taken directly to Jabba the Hutt, him-freaking-self, as he has just established a crime ring on Dreamworld and the casino she robbed so happened to belong to him. Once there, she finds herself forced to listen to an enigmatic riddle, something she finds profoundly irritating, so in a fit of frustration, she begins to strangle the Hutt, using her own cuffs. At this moment, Jabba's bounty hunters arrive to kill her, but Gert manages to escape, while Jabba demands her head on a platter. However, she escapes to a shroom land, where she hides amongst the mushrooms and is never seen again in the town, so there will be no fulfilled vengeance on the Gluttonous One's part. Knowing she can't hide there forever, Gert leaps out of the forest in a frantic escape and lands on the back of a blue monster with one eye, who is serving as her getaway vehicle, since the monster's job is to serve as the planet's stagecoach.
Gertrude's destination ends up to be the Ice Cream Island, where talking cones exist. Since they never STFU, she materialises a Viking axe in her hand (because that's how stuff works there), but a real one this time, not one of her dad's fake props and she uses the axe to cut off the cone's faces and they die. Just as Gertrude wipes her axe clean against her skirt, she is confronted by 4-LOM, one of Jabba's assassins who has been hired to kill Gertrude for good.
In a fit of violence, she decides to take drastic and violent action against him, and takes a nearby ice sword loged into one of the cones. Eventually, she charges at 4-LOM, but he sides steps and breaks her ice sword to bits. Sweeney then takes a hold of her battle axe again, but LOM just throws a bomb at her, forcing her to run away and hide amongst the shrooms again. Not wanting to get caught, she escapes out of the shroom forest the other way, and 4-LOM seemed to have ceased chasing after her.
Gertrude, while walking around the foothills of the land, came across Almeida once again. Annoyed with her and this planet, she demanded to be brought back to life, explaining that as a goddess, Almeida probably had such powers at her disposal. "Hell nah. To the nah, nah!" replied, Almeida, but she offered Gert something else instead: wise advice.
Almeida senses Gert's rage and hatred towards this world that she was stuck in and didn't let her kill everyone indiscriminately, so she explained to her that there existed a territory on this world, not on her map, called the Death World, where she could easily kill everyone she wished, 'cept the ruler of the place, Dark Death, but he'd allow that sith anyway. Sweeney seemed intrigued at the idea and said that'd be something she's always wanted to do. "That'd be... awesome." she says. Almeida now hands her a brand new map and shows her where to go. However, she tells her to be quick as she can, for 4-LOM might catch her.
After napping in some piss-forsaken forest made of cheese and eating some of it, hopefully not getting any lack-toes-in-toddler-ants (meaning becoming lactose intolerant), Gertrude uses the precious map she was given by the Keeper or Keepersses for that matter, of Time. After some walking and cutting heads off with her axe of unfortunate hobos on the roadside, begging for food, she finds Dark Death's dungeon of a castle and enters it. Although Death's guarding doesn't let her in, she cuts off his head, takes his small blade, spits on his corpse and sends him to Hell, so to speak. Once she finally meets Death himself, the Dark Lord asks what she wants and who she is. She says she's thirsty for blood. Was ever since she was a child and that she wants some reward for all the death she's spread on the planet so far, something Dark Death no doubt appreciates. "That was you, child? How odd. But thanks!" says Death, as he is indeed satisfied with all of the souls he has gotten so far from the dead creatures Gert killed. He says if she wants to be his little worshipper or loyal servant, and she agrees, knowing the benefits, which include energy absorption, summoning imps to do her bidding, and the ability to project energy blasts. The two evil creatures hug to cement the deal and Dark Death gives her a new sword to kill even more creatures. When he asks to cleanse or sharpen her axe, she refuses however, as she prefers it dull - so it takes longer to cut off victims' limbs or tear through their skin, she is one sadistic little brat after all. Death also tells her she can take a throne and rule a kingdom of her own here one day, if she obeys. Of course she does. When Sweeney asks if she can face Sharp-hand Joe for the throne of the entire planet, Death strongly advises against it. However, there is another one she can challenge for the throne... Queen Zella.
Hunt for Zella[]
Gertrude saw that ruling her own kingdom could really even the playing field on Dreamworld, so she looked up online on where to find Zella's castle or a portal to it. Finding the location not too far from Dark Death's castle, Gertrude walked there, armed with Death's sword, an axe and the superpowers she just gained. Walking through the castle's front door, Sweeney summons some imps to help her out in killing Zella's guards. Luckily for her and the imps, Zella's guardsmen were only armed with small maces, short swords and broken shields, by which one can assume that Zella doesn't like to spent a lot of coins on security, so Gertrude and the crew defeat them. Gert's final swing from her Viking axe, split opens the ground and causes Sweeney and the imps to fall through. "Do not move or attempt to escape! You're trapped!" a nasty female voice boomed throughout the place. The door opened and Queen Zella herself stepped into the room. Gert's imps charged her, but she used her magic spell to destroy them all. She then said that she can as easily dispose Gert.
"No way, old fart! Your time is over!" Puke-hair yelled as she threw her sword towards Zella, who blocked it. Gertrude then decided to start shooting her energy blasts at Zella, but she blocked them as well, although it did stun her for a bit. Gertrude started circling around her, looking for any sign of weakness, but Zella wasn't that easy to beat at all. Just then, the two saw someone knocking on the door that Zella came through and whoever it was managed to break down the door. It 4-LOM. He had his bazooka blaster ready and made a shot at Gert. Seeing this as the perfect chance, Sweeney jumped behind a startled Zella and she got her head blasted off instead. "Dam it!" yelled 4-LOM, as he missed his hiding target.
Gertrude stood over Zella's headless corpse, the queen's blue blood (not literally) pooling like spilled ink from your school pen on the wet floor of the mouldy basement. Coming to the realisation, Gert jumped into the air out of joy, buzzing with her new powers, proving herself as a capable ruler. "Not so fast! Jabba requires your death!" taunted 4-LOM, as he reloaded his bazooka cannon. Gert ran for her life, up into the castle's top chambers, escaping into the throne room. Pinky was amazed at the throne. The gaudy thing was made of thorns and gems, although Gert admitted that it didn't fit her style. She preferred something much "darker".
Running after her and assuming (rightfully so) that she went to the throne room, 4-LOM appeared before Sweeney once again, explaining to the Princess that her death was required; a big yes-yes. Gert smirked, her muddy-green hair sticking to her sweat-slick forehead, her battered pink outfit being bloodied from all the battles she went through. "You again? Back to the scrapyard with you, fly." She taunted, then arose as her energy was crackling in her palms. 4-LOM, an emotionless killer of a machine, a robot devoid of anything human, showed no fear or concern. He raised his blaster, but Gert was faster this time. She summoned a large, red energy blast, shooting LOM away, down the stairs of the throne room. He clanked with each fall, breaking his robotic body.
"I must make sure you're down, doe." said Sweeney and she summoned some imps. The annoying little, demonic-like imps, swarmed down the stairs into 4-LOM like angry bees. He couldn't get his insected buttocks up from the fall and the imps were too many. What happened next is unknown, although painful, robotic shrieks can be heard as 4-LOM gets eaten and destroyed by the imps. Gert closed the door of the throne room before the imps could get back to her, so she could savour the moment.
Sitting down on the unfitting throne, Sweeney slammed her fists or hands onto the throne's arms, angry that the throne didn't fit her style and knew she needed a new one. For now however, she was just happy she could rule a portion of the planet as her own. But it is clear however, that Gertrude, now Queen Gertrude's megalomaniacal goals, have only just begun to take place in her demented brain.
Assassination[]
A month after ruling the kingdom, 4-LOM finally gets re-built or whatever and knocks on her castle's door. Since she just killed her last servant or butler out of anger or for no reason at all, since she is one unstable lil' biatch, 4-LOM finally manages to get as she opens the door and before she can even react, as she just woke up, he blasts her face off with a space bazooka. Seeing his work was finally done, he takes a pic and returns to Jabba to get his reward. After dying once again, Gertrude actually manages to go to the Netherworld now for all the sins she did in the Dreamworld. Meeting Lord Naberius, the Marquess explains to Gertrude that Sharp-hand Joe, that bastard, has been a thorn for sometime now in Lord Chernobog and Hell's council side and needs to be removed so Dreamworld can be merged into Netherworld. When Gert asks what she'll gain from this, Naberius assures her that she can murder and torture all the residents of the Netherworld as she wishes. New souls arrive daily to the planet, so there would indeed be an unlimited supply of souls for her to kill. Sweeney can roll with that, but Naberius needs to see Sharpy's head first in order to cement the deal. Also, he says Joey needs to stop copying off Freddy Krueger.
Mission in the Netherworld[]
Walking around the fiery wastelands of the Netherworld, sweating like Hell itself and needing to sit tf down every half an hour so she doesn't overheat, Gertrude finally comes and confront the one known as Sharp-hand Joe after getting the necessary map from a random Oni, who needed a favour done beforehand. The concepts of that favour however, remain a mystery. Sweeney finds the Sharp-handed one having a nap on a lawn chair near a lava pit, resting and feeling the beautiful heat, but he is startled when Gert spits near him and calls him out. Still having some of her Fairyland powers, the Nightmare of a Child opened up a small portal to let a few imps out, who would attack Joey. They jumped at Joe and stunned him, before he was able to fight one or two off with his sharp glove, throwing them into the nearby lava. Materialising her axe, Gert stepped closer to Joe, who just laughed and taunted that a little girl like him could never beat him. However, Sweeney just swung her axe once at him and cut him in half, his legs, lower part of the body really, falling into the lava, like her minions before them. A legless Joe found himself begging the Puke-locks for mercy, but she only smirked wickedly and granted him none. She ordered her remaining minions to throw or push Joe's body into the lava, burning him alive and killing him. When she came to Pandemonium via a coach, Lord Chernobog himself said that Hell will now be able to merge with the Dreamworld and that said world's landscapes would fit the Netherworld well, also complimenting her that she served Hell's government's purpose well. As part of the deal and because the Dark Lord always keeps his word, Gertrude gets a new outfit; one in style of a Hell's footsoldier (although she is still allowed to keep her bloodied, pink one, which she prefers), some new weapons, which include a SMG, a new sword, a bomb-dropping plane driven by The Boom! Pilot and some new magical abilities, including the power to teleport and heal herself.
Having all of this in her grasps, Gertrude decides to try all of these new weapons and abilities out and starts a massacre in the Netherworld, many outskirts outside of Pandemonium or any major cities, so she wouldn't bother the ruling bodies of Hell. Her targets included the brand new souls that died on Earth, or any other planet really, that found themselves in Hell, random Onis, demons and even wraiths. She has probably been almost killed once or twice, or maybe she was and she got resurrected, only to continue her spree. But how long will her bloodlust keep her going until she decides that she wants more power? Back on Dreamworld, killing Zella gave her a kingdom to rule, but she has yet to have any hopes coming for that in Hell.
