Gaspar Gomez was a Mexican Drug Lord, who was only a mentioned character in the film and second part of the game, but is one of the main enemies in Scarface: The World Is Yours 1.
Biography[]
Gaspar was from Mexico who was born in absolute poverty. However, when he moved to Miami he created a drug empire that dealt with the cocaine and Gomez became a rich gang leader, respected by the boss of the Miami crime scene, Edgart Diaz, who was respected by almost all of the bosses, apart from Nacho Contreras and maybe a few others. Gomez took advantage of Tony Montana's disappearance in late 2008 to take over all of his former fronts and allied with Alejandro Sausage, George Sheffield, and Nacho Contreras. Montana attempted to kill him at the La Normande Hotel, the Downtown warehouse that he owned, but he was not there and killed his chief of security, Ricardo, and all of the men there instead. Montana took Gomez's satellite phone and an armoured Brahma with $50,000 from Gomez, who was infuriated when he got the phone bill instead of Montana.
Rise to Power and Downfall[]
Three months after Sausage's attack on Tony's mansion, Gaspar's drug cartel had become the most powerful gang in Miami due to his affiliation with Alejandro Sausage, dominating (not sexually) South and North Town. Tony attacked Gaspar's hotel, killed his head of security, stole a satellite phone for his personal use, and hijacked a Brahma carrying $50,000 enabling him to open a new bank account therefore provoking Gaspar into going to war with Tony. After Tony had eliminated the Diaz Brothers and Nacho Contreras, Gaspar was next on Tony's hit list. Tony succeeded in expanding his empire into both South and North Town, leaving Gaspar's gang very weakened. Gaspar held a meeting with Sausage and George Sheffield regarding Tony at Sausage's mansion in Bolivia, however Tony began his one man attack on the mansion. Tony confronts Gaspar and his bodyguards, the mortally wounded Gaspar tries to crawl, but eventually gives up to his injuries and dies.

Gaspar Gomez was the former head of Gomez Gang, who controlled North Town and South Town, but he is only mentioned.
