The 2008 Freedomtown Shoot-out was a shootout between Tony Montana and redneck mercenaries lead by Rick Cruelty, Montana was set up to die there by Itchy Stein. Montana was ambushed in Freedomtown, but he killed all of the attackers and presumably killed Stein.

Info[]

Tone Montana hired George Sheffield as his lawyer back in 2005, before the Montana Mansion Shoot-out in 2008. Everyone believed him to be dead, but Montana came back three months later, and rebuilt his empire by conquering Little Havana from the Diaz Gang and re-employed all of his past enforcers and business partners. Sheffield was hired again as his lawyer, but was in a conspiracy with Alejandro Sausage, Gaspar Gomez, and Nacho Contreras to take him out.

Itchy Stein, an associate of Sheffield and Industrial Zone boss phoned Montana, telling him that Sheffield wanted him to meet him at Freedomtown, as he thought it would be appropriate to meet at the place where he got his start in United States of America; now it was a ghost town, perfect for secret gatherings. However, Stein drove off once Montana was dropped off, and he was ambushed by violent rednecks who protected their territory with all force.

Battle[]

Montana beat down two machete-wielding thugs, taking their swords and killing some of the gunmen, taking their guns and killing the other deranged rednecks. Montana killed all of them, and the snipers on top of the buildings too. Then, Stein tried to escape by boat, so Montana pursued him, and Drejc Makarov (an ally of Montana's) shot him dead with his boat's machinegun, however, Stein's dead body was never found and today it is still unknown what happened to him.
