The Forces of Light refers to a gathering of all good-aligned warriors in the game of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. They are the opposing army that clashes with the Forces of Darkness in the Great Battle.

In the intro sequence of the game, and in the final moments of its Konquest mode, two clans, the Forces of Light and the Forces of Darkness, do battle in the Edenian Southlands. They are interrupted by the rising Pyramid of Argus, and atop of it: Blaze. The two armies now race to the top, each single individual hoping to defeat the fire-elemental and absorb its power.
Each character's ending in the game is what would happen if they were the one to defeat Blaze and take the prize for themselves. As revealed in the biography of Kung Lao himself, he is the one who started gathering the Forces of Light, due to Liu Kang's death and Raiden's corruption (although the latter still joins the gathering and eventually becomes the leader of the forces). According to the swordsman Kenshi, he desired lead the Forces, not Raiden. Also, Kitana was told by Blaze that she must unite the forces of good together but apparently, she was helping Liu Kang's spirit after this despite being presented at the battle. Liu Kang's rotten corpse joins neither side, but only seeks the destruction and death of his murderer and arch-nemesis, Shang Tsung.
All members of the clan perished in the first timeline. Raiden was the last one to die at the hands of Shao Kahn, but just before he did, he sent a warning back in time to his past self, creating a second timeline.

- Raiden is the leader of the Forces despite the fact that while being neutrally good, he is one of the only beings that can match up the powers of the Forces of Darkness's leader, Shinnok.
