The First Barzini-Corleone War was a short mob war between the Barzini Family and the Corleone Family friend Johnny Trapani that lasted from November at 12:23 to 12:31, 2008. It resulted in the expansion of the Barzinis and the death of Corleone pally Johnny.

Don Emilio Barzini and the Barzinis under spy Sergio Turrera and hitman Alberto La Ruso began to expand into the Corleone territory, most of it run by Johnny Trapani and Luka Brasi. The Barzinis began the war by bombing Trapani's Bakery in Little Town, which made tons of money lost for the Corleone Family. Trapani was gunned down by the Barzinis after killing three of the enforcers, which proved to be a tremendous blow to the Barzini family. The Barzinis later traped Johnny in the alleyway corner and do him a fatality, they later release Sarah and Aldo, however.
