Fidgit (real name Frederick) is a minor villain character featured in Red Dead Revolver. He leads Prof. Perry's Circus clown army and his brothers plus him are all sneaky and tricky-to-beat foes when together.
Info[]
Fidgit is one of many dwarf clowns who are part of Professor Perry's circus crew and work as his minion army, with Fidgit leading the bunch. According to Bartlett, the Sheriff of Brimstone, Fidgit and his brothers are the offsprings, children or spawns of Pig Josh and the Bad Lady of the circus. They were born sometime after the end of the American Civil War, where Josh was a dynamite expert for the Confederacy. When the Bad Lady of the circus left due to the circus' criminal behaviour, they were raised by Perry himself and the results were frightening, unsurprising and terrifying. By 1884, the circus officially started to deal in criminal activities such as kidnapping, arson (of entire towns) and probably mass murder, with Fidgit being no exception to the matter.
Interactions[]
Red Harlow first encounters Fidgit and his bros during the mission "Circus Carnival", where they are first encountered and taunt like all hell. They get some help from Digs Fowler and have even locked Jack Swift up in a cage. They know how to cover well as well. Fidgit is shot down by Harlow during the mission, but he, along with Fowler, survives the ordeal, unlike his father, whomst Red killed so he could get the bounty reward plus he freed Jack.
When Jack goes to Widow's Palace to end Professor Perry and his schemes once and for all, he encounters a bunch of clowns and Fidgit again as well. Whether Fidgit himself was killed during the mission or not is unknown, but most of Perry's Circus, including the nutty Professor, did meet their end there.
Nevertheless, judging from the year the game took place it is safe to assume Fidgit and his surviving siblings are dead by now.
Alternative timeline[]
In the current and third timeline, Fidgit indeed survived the ordeal at the Carnival Outpost and after Perry's Circus' disbandment, went to work as a court jester for Mayor Griffon at his mansion. Fidgit served Griff well and was a great entertainer. One of Fidgit's best tricks of the trade were to throw pies in the face of Griff's enemies, like that Buffalo Soldier guy and servants who displeased him, especially those who were lactose intolerant.
Fidgit appears as an enemy during the opening section of the mission "Tower of Cards" and is presumably killed by Red. Fidgit spawns only once, since he is a single individual, while a bunch of US Soldiers defending Griffon's Mansion spawn more times, typically.

Showdown[]
Fidgit is unlocked as a playable character in Showdown mode by either completing the easy-going mission "Circus Carnival" on Bounty hunter's mode or by purchasing the Napoleon Statue from the General Store in Brimstone after completing "The Freak Show" mission.
Fidgit is a pretty useful character in Showdown for he can run slightly faster than the other characters (while doing so, the jingling bells in his boots or wherever can be heard), is short af which makes him hard to shoot, especially in a duel and as a special ability, he can transform his dynamite into a card which explodes in the opponent's ugly face when he/she collects it. He uses a Six-shooter and a Sawn-off Shotgun as his primary weapons.
Journal Entry[]
Pig Josh is said to have had a lot of sex, cuddling, spanking, boob-licking and sole massaging with the broad known as The Bad Lady, who was very naughty and bad and loved a good aftercare. She disappeared one night when she had enough of the circus' griminal acts, so her children, like that clown Fidgit, were raised by Professor Perry himself and the results are truly terrifying! These kids look demonic, like some goddamn Clown ITs, if that creep even exists.
Trivia[]
- Fidgit and his cute siblings are briefly and indirectly mentioned in campfire segments in Red Dead Garlic bread, along with their father, but not Perry.
- Due to their relatively small size, they can be very difficult to see when fighting, and when playing as Fidgit during high noon, it will be dam well difficult to point the clown's gun high enough fo' a headshot.
- Fidgit can somehow make odd sounds be heard in the background when taunting, getting hit by dynamite or taking cover. These include a slide whistle and a drum roll.
- Other than having dwarfism, Fidgit also has a goddam Hapsburg Jaw. Perhaps Pig Josh and Bad Lady were... related?
- His first costume has him looking a bit like a bee, with yellow and dark yellow patterns crossing his outfit while in his second costume, he is partially bald and looks a bit like Pennywise.
- His dynamite throwing abilities were learned from his father.
- His nose is more orange than red sometimes.
- His left side of the journal page (including the Bonaparte statue) is covered with 666 aka the Number of the Beast. Hmmm... Is he one of Shinnok or Chernobog's followers? Perhaps one day Fidgit wishes to sit on the throne of the Never Never Land.
