Enrico Noriega is a psychopath and former party maker in Gold Town. He became insane after some bunch of people ruined up his party, suffering a mental breakdown, so he, along with his wife, Elizabeth Noriega, murdered them for revenge. He was sent to the Dixmor Asylum soon after. It is unknown what happened to his wife.

Today he works for the Villain Video Enterprises under the White Rabbit as an actor. He walked out of the asylum a free man in 2017.

Biography[]

Enrico was born in Chuparosa, Nuevo Paraiso, Mexico, to Abraham Noriega, and Jenny Noriega. Enrico was already acting kinda weird in high school, hanging out with shinnoknists since he was a little "sick in the head", so they said. This pissed his craptholic parents off and they prevented him from attending Day of the Dead celebrations as a result. He then hung out with drug dealers after school and was something of a nuisance in the neighbourhood. He reportedly suffered some type of bipolar mental disorder and according to his shrink, Dr. Eduardo, couldn't feel empathy. After completing college and getting a job as a professional cook, he married with an American woman named Elizabeth, who was employed as another cook at the same restaurant he worked at. Enrico and his wife were big party planers outside of work, and after moving to Gold Town, in West Virginia, they were known for their big and awesome parties all around the place, kind of like Pinkie Pie from Outworld. Enrico was also a vegetarian.

All was doing and going great, until one day in 2005, when three of their guests screwed up the party by saying mean words, dissing the party, drinking all of the punch and bringing meat along with them. Already having mental issues from before, Enrico and Elizabeth murdered them all before moving back to their house like nothing happened. They were reported to the police soon after, and Enrico was sent to the Dixmor Hospital for the Criminally Insane, but it is unknown what happened to his wife. Enrico acted very weird to his doctors at the Asylum and no one actually understood him or what he was trying to say, assuming his condition only worsened. It was also believed he had no idea of what he did or recollections of what happened. Once Dr. Marko Dixmor prescribed him the correct pills, Enrico finally calmed down and started opening up. He also started to get haunted by the memories of what he did. However, for some reason, Enrico didn't like Dr. Marko and considered him a fraud otherwise he'd let him out already.

After the staff at the asylum was bribed by James Stalker in 2006 to participate in his horror and snuff productions, all of the patients were released, and caused big chaos around the Asylum and killed all the orderlies and doctors, save for Maxwell Dixmor, the then leader of the asylum, who was fine with it and didn't care at all about the deaths of any of his patients or staff. Noriega eventually became leader of the mentally ill gang known as the Smileys, since only he had the charisma to gather up a bunch of followers who would obey his orders, those that were sane enough to do so anyway. However its real leader was the White Rabbit, who was a very good friend of Enrico's.

Manhunt[]

During the events of Manhunt II, Enrico was stationed as one of the guards of the Dixmor Asylum, leader of the Smileys and a bodyguard of the White Rabbit after Cash was scripted to die in the workshop. Unlike most Smileys, Enrico survived Cash's wrath after he was only knocked out, not killed by his encounter.

After the events of the game and film, he continued to be stationed in the asylum, under the care of Dr. Max Dixmor. He was still considered leader of the Smileys and had a small cult-like following at the asylum, somehow similar to Charlie Mansen. After his release from the hospital in late 2018, he continued to work for the Villain Video Enterprises, this time under the leadership of the White Rabbit himself. He has since been considered one of his top actors and a good muscle. It is also doubtful if he ever truly recovered at the asylum, but nevertheless, now that he works back as a serial killer, it doesn't really seem to matter.

Trivia[]

  • Enrico is one of the few Smileys who wasn't killed by James Earl Cash in film Sudden Violence in 2006.
  • He claims he used to have a Moose trophy or something despite his vegetarian beliefs.
  • He, Fug and Roberto Stanton are the least insane Smileys. This could imply how Enrico is able to order the other two around. Today perhaps there are more less insane Smileys as well.
  • He is the only member of Smileys that has his biography told out loud, while all others don't. At others we whisper.
  • He appears to be bald.
  • He is sometimes considered to be very similar to Pinkie Pie of the Stracci Family as both have a similar, party-going attitude and psychopathic personalities. Both are also mentally ill and both were confined to an insane asylum at some point.
  • Whether he got back with his wife by now or not is unknown.
