Elvira Hancock was formerly Edgart Diaz's girlfriend and later became Tony Montana's wife. Tony nicknames her "Elvie". Elvira was born on April 29th, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland. Elvira is racist to Germans. She leaves Montana after a fight at the restaurant. She is also mentioned in the Scarface video game 1 by Sheffield's worker, Itchy Stein to bait Tony into a trap by Sheffield and Sausage. Her exact whereabouts by the end of the film are unknown. Also, in Scarface game 2, she has the same role as in movie, she is Tony's wife and is seen at the beginning, like in the film.

- Tony makes snide remarks during a fight at the restaurant that Elvira hates Germans due the things she heard about Olaf. Tony says - "Look at that, a german hater, a real racist... I got a racist for a wife... She hates them so much, she gets nightmares just thinking about it... I, I, I did Nazi that coming!"
- In the game 1, Tony often mentions Elvira, saying phrases such as, "I wonder where is that wife of mine?", "Elvie, where did you go?" and "I wonder where my wife is."
