"I don't think the man ever portrays his own character more vividly than in a manner of portraying another's. What I mean by this is, if you keep judging others and talking about others all the time, you may be projecting."
— Elias' wisdom on gossipers

Elias Harrington was a British writer, scientist and a philosopher from Norwich, in England. Elias was born in May 9, 1819/79 BH as a son of a doctor from London, and mother who worked as a maid for King George III himself at his luxurious castle. He grew up in a rich, artistic and cultural atmosphere of his parents', well more specifically father's, circle and was interested in science at a young age, probably to follow in his father's footsteps.

After finishing the schools, Elias became a well-respected teacher at Worthing in Sussex, before being promoted to the professor of chemistry. Despite the initial joy of his success, Elias eventually found chemistry too difficult, boring or outright dangerous to teach and instead focused his energy on writing philosophical books. He quit his job at the academy and gave the bras d'honneur (the "arm of honour") to the dean who wished he stayed.

In 1883 he published his important study of religion and life in general, labelled On Strong and the Weak, which was a compendium compressed of two volumes. He wrote many more books about scepticism and used his study of the Pagan religions of the ancient times to discredit the Abrahamic and Dharmic religions and ideologies, claiming that they all copied from each other. His last book, The Mind and it's Powers, which he finished a month before he died, contains his critiques of religion, detestable teachings, chemistry, oppositions to royalty, and his advocacy of religious coexistence while challenging the outlook of pantheism. In the last chapter of said book, Elias explains that his influencers were Socrates, Protagoras, Democritus, Ben Franklin and Friedrich Nietzsche.
