E. B. Pictures is an amusement park founded in Orlando, Florida in 1971 by six men and one dream. The six men were named Michael Everard (from Germany), Jeffery Bukowski (from Poland), Patrick O’Connell (from Ireland), David Cohen (from NYC), Bradley Swanson (from England), and Thomas Rousseau (from Louisiana). Their one dream that they all shared was to build their very own amusement park to attract as many tourists from all over the world as they could. These six men all met each other at a beach bar when they were visiting Florida in 1967. As they were sitting there drinking, they had talked to each other about dreams they had. Coincidentally, they all had the exact same ones. They were all very surprised to have so much in common they decided to work together as a six man team and build an amusement park, which took four years to complete. E. B. Pictures has a theme park right by it called Adventure Island, which was founded in 1973. The resort has hotels with pools and fitness centers as well as a casino, a shopping mall, bars, ethnic restaurants to please various guests, and even a library. Countries represented at the resorts include the United States, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Haiti, Colombia, Venezuela, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Israel, Turkey, Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Lebanon, Japan, China, South Korea, and India. Also, the E and B stand for the surnames of Michael Everard and Jeffrey Bukowski. You may think the other four wanted their surnames in it too but they decided to keep the acronym short and sweet so it’ll be easier for visitors to say.
