Dimitri Petrenko is a playable character in the Russian campaign of Call of Duty: World at War and is mentioned in Call of Duty: Black Ops. He was a Red Army soldier during World War II who had cheated death multiple times alongside Viktor Reznov. Dimitri was a private whereas Reznov was a sargeant. Dimitri was also Reznov’s favoured soldier. However, after WWII on the 29th of October, 1945, he was killed by nova gas. Much like Reznov, he was overall well-intentioned.
