This article, Dimitri P. Kalashnikov, is property of Demon Redwood.

Dimitri Kalashnikov was a veteran of the Bosnian wars in former Yugoslavia. He was born in Yugoslavia during the seventies, and not much of his childhood is known, only thing worth mentioning is that his mother is an optometrist and his father was an absent drunk his whole childhood. Also, he was born wearing a balaclava, which sounds really odd, and that balaclava is in fact a part of his skin and can't be removed.

While he was fighting in the Bosnian wars, some weird man with a red mask kidnapped him, with other people from different time periods. The weird man's ultimate goal was to see, which one of the people he kidnapped was going to win a Hunger Games-like event. Later it is revealed to Dimitri, that his old crew member had sold him to this weird man, in exchange for them not being taken. When he finds out, he tries to take his own life by drinking pure ethanol during the event, but he only passes out for a few days.

When he wakes up, he finds himself in a bit of trouble. He is approached by a samurai from the 1400's and a 5'2" tall gladiator and is forced to compete with the two in a deadly duelling competish from the 1870's, known as the Battle Royale. Samurai uses his sword and throws it instead of a gun, while Kalashnikov uses his Kalashnikov, killing him and winning. He also wins over the short gladiator, when the gladiator misses with his spears twice, or so it seems, as Kalashnikov doesn't even bother to check if he really hit him or not.

Long story short though, he meets his doom in the event, being killed 3rd last by the gladiator he thought he had shot dead. The gladiator throws a spear through his chest and Kalashnikov dies after a while. After an old bearded, drug addicted man wins the event, he gets revived and teleported back to the battle he was taken from. Moments after, he finds the crew members that sold him out and coldly murders all three of them.

After the Yugoslav wars ended, he moves to New York City and begins a life of crime, changing his name to John D. Frederiksen. After getting into some trouble in NYC and his fake ID, he moves to the west coast, sipping Pina Coladas and driving fast boats in California with all the money he took, including the Racing Boat.
