Darrius is a character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. He made his debut in Mortal Kombat: Return of The Dragon King.
Biography[]
Darrius is a Seidan who became disillusioned with Orderworld's oppressive nature. As a result, he defected, and began to lead a resistance movement to overthrow Seido's Senate and Government, which took advantage to convince residents into participating in the movement. One tactic was to have a guardsman's family murdered, who would then retaliate and be expelled from the Guardsmen. He was then ripe for induction into the swelling ranks. Others joined him of their own volition, such as the Grim of Chaos, Havik.
He later hired Dairou to kill Hotaru, the leader of the Seidan Guardsmen. It is known Dairou didn't succeed, as the three returned in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Darrius was also responsible for starting massive riots in Orderworld.
Darrius joined the Great Battle in 2011 in the original timeline, siding with the Forces of Darkness, where he died along with almost every other combatant.

Trivia[]
- Despite fighting to free Orderworld and its people from oppressive fascist regimes such as the Seidan Guardsmen and Seido's government, he is actually worse than the both of them.
- This contrasts to how some people see the former Soviet Union and Joe Valirover as being worse than Nazi Germany and Olaf Tutchenko despite being allies in the Second World War.
- He and the sorcerer Quan Chi are known as the biggest family killers ever on the Wiki. Coincidentally, they're both from Mortal Kombat.
- Darrius used to train Karate.
- He stole the weapon known as Lungchuan Dao from the Seidan Government and keeps it safe in his Chamber of Artefacts.
- His kill count, not counting his Seidan Rebels, is rumoured to be over 14.
