The Crimson Dawn is an intergalactic organised crime syndicate. It has nothing to do with tomboys, emos or goths despite its name. It is rivals with Jabba the Hutt and his cartel. It is also led by Dryden Vos. While the Hutt family is essentially the Star Wars and uh, Redwood's galaxy's equivalent of Italian-American drug cartels and mafias, the Crimson Dawn is essentially that galaxy's equivalent of the Russian Mafia. They are also a mutual enemy of both the Jedi and the Sith Empire. As a matter of fact, the Sith even once sought to wipe them all out before they fell apart.
