Chieftain (aka Chip-chan in Japan) is an underrated franchise concepted on the video game and trilogy of audio novels.

Plot[]

The concept of the franchise is built on the endless journey of vibe of a sexually assertive girl named Yōsuka Chieftain, who is still trying to revive her named sister Séika Chaplygina and stop Malice Cheng from committing chaos around China and then is still going to take over the world.

Differences between video game and audio novels trilogy[]

Concerning differences between the video game and audio novels, in Chip-chan Kick! video game, Arína Lare didn't adopt Yōsuka, and Séika wasn't adopted by anyone, because Nasumi Reiner appeared only in audio novel. Also, in audio novels, the origin of the Dark Overlord Walbit was very detailed unlike in the video game. In the video game, he was just a typical Shinnok or Azazel-type of warlord and conqueror. In audio novel series, Arína is actually Yōsuka's stepmother.

Dark Renovation, just like To Love-Ru: Darkness, should also be considered a very dirty and lewd sequel of the original video game, but after the original franchise developer Cybertech Custom was disbanded, the idea was abandoned and then only the audio novel was published instead of video game.

Final drop of the series was Chieftain: The Showdown (aka Chip-chan Kick! The Retribution - Stones Unturned), and this final part of the saga looks better indeed, like an another part of Manhunt rather than another sequel of Chip-chan Kick universe, since the Chip-chan series started losing more and more popularity, so Terminal Voltage staff took some ideas from retro games. After that, the franchise was completely abandoned as it was unpopular, controversial and unwanted by most people in general.

As for question of The Bristol War, or Bristol Massacre, this "one-day war" is a fictional and is based on Springhill Massacre and World War II those are actually identical to the Bristol War in the plot cycle.
