Chernobog (also known in English as Black God and is also referred to as King of Darkness) is a brutal and heartless dictator of the Dark Mountains in Hell, known as the Never Never Land, while he is also the landlord of the place.
He loves it when the denizens of his Mountains can't afford to pay their properties, so he can easily consume their souls and make them into minions of his Dark Empire. He also owns a Satanic version of McDonalds' in Hell.
Chernobog is one of the supporting if not major villains on the Wiki (or heroes, depends on your points of view) and held a high position in Hell until he eventually started to rule the place after dethroning Shinnok. A lot of the lesser demons and even some archdemons fear him, but he had no desire to rule the Never Land, it seems; he let Shinnok do the ruling until he destroyed him and become ruler of the dark planet by chance not by . He was the main villain to John Cena when that Chinese scoundrel found himself in the Never Land under CPC's orders.

The Dark Lord Chernobog can usually be seen rising from the top of the Dark Mountains where he spreads open his wings, extends his dark blue arms, and summons some demons from the lands below, who then devour entire mountainous towns and villages full of people and consume their souls. The souls then go to Chernobog who makes them his minions, but not all the same worth: some are given more rights than others and some are given free will, however those who are given free will are the ones who would be loyal to him by defacto and have already swallowed down any anti-religious ideology he speeched. His demon tards includes Generals, Colonels, Commanders and Lieutenants, but whether are these beasts the same ones as found in Hell's Army is unknown.
Chernobog, similar to Azazel, likes a good trick or a joke and he amuses Himself by forcing a bunch of succubi to dance for him, humorously. If he's horny, he demands them to stripdance for him or maybe even lapdance for him. The succubi dancers also include Vilinova. He also likes to drink some tea on the side with King Baal or Lord Kochal, fellow Dark Lords of the abyss. But unlike the two, Chernobog likes himself some coffee. Chernobog then makes himself smaller, small enough to walk on the same grounds those pesky sinners that inhabit his unholy lands do, and calls up a couple of priests from the Brotherhood of Shadow (meaning they probably serve him as well) to aid him in checking if his denizens paid their rent or if they behaved well and blasphemed well, as they're suppose to. Unfortunately, a lot of these human sinners didn't pay their rent, blaspheme enough or just didn't sin enough to have their souls spared, so Chernobog grabbed them via levitation and tossed them into the hellish inferno below the land and mountains and they boiled in the pit. He then drags their souls back up and they become his wretched servants while their flesh is used as meat for McDonald's meat products, like bergers aka steamed hams.
This sadistic cycle has been a habit of the Dark Lord for ages and if you think that this is all he does to those who disobey his rule you are sadly mistaken. Sometimes those boiling servants get thrown into other territories of Hell after Chernobog is done torturing them and they are tortured in other places as well by other rulers, each more sadistic than the other, like King Moloch, Beelzebub, Drahmin or, very rarely, Clurkicus and Shinnok themselves!
Challenged by Senna[]
As Chernobog prepares to continue his wickedness for another month, he is suddenly interrupted by the sound of Chinese anthem and the light of dawn which somehow shines into Hell. "Heavens' light shines bright, but so do flames!" yells Chernobog, sensing that someone is out there to oppose him. Though he attempts to ignore it, the light and the smell of cummunism become too much for him to withstand and his minions begin to hide behind decayed trees due to their cowardice, causing Chernobog to accept the challenger, whoever he may be. Out of nowhere, Xi Jinping's bodyguard John Cena shows up and demands Chairman Mao's soul returns to the land of the living. Chernobog laughs and sends forth a couple of demonic imps to charge Senna, but Cena shrugs all of them off. When only him and Chernobog remain, he compliments his skill, but returning Mao to Earth is a no-deal. Cena charges at the Evil Lord, but to no avail. Chernobog throws him to the ground, attempting to throw him into the fiery depths and infernos of abyss, but Senna holds on to the branches on the cliffside into the abyss. Seeing he's about to burn for eternity, Cena pulls out his phone and calls for Xi to open up a portal back to China at the last second. The portal opens and Cena jumps into it, back to China, leaving Chernobog a bit disappointed but he is cheered up by a priest of the Brotherhood who says they may continue their check-ups on the Dark Mountains' residents. Chernobog accepted the suggestion, for he was hungry for more and more souls.
Attack on Outworld[]
Chernobog is the only demon of the Gehenna aka the Never Never Land to wish to conquer Outworld, for he claims that its mountains will serve him well. Even though the Outworld's ruler, Shao Kahn is as brutal and evil as it gets, Chernobog has evolved beyond him and he sends some of the Brotherhood of Shadow to assault the purple blanet.
Chernobog himself would then show up and his immense darkness could also be the reason why life is fading away on the purple planet, because he just happens to be so heartless. He cuts off Kameel Doran's head in the process. Kahn's Army charged at the Dark Lord and his minions, but because his dark and evil nature makes him so powerful, he just destroyed all those who crossed his path. "Those who cross my bloody path disclaim their own tomorrow!" yells Chernobog. Finally, Chernobog arrives before Shao Kahn's Castle, kills off Goro and Kintaro, the Shokan bodyguards of Kahn, while Grizzly and Standing Snake flee. Chernobog confronts Shao himself in his throne room, but Moon Kalamari wishes to calm him down, only for a demon of the Brotherhood to slit his throat. Emperor Shao Kahn took out his Wrath Hammer and charged at Chernobog, but the Black God just threw him aside with his powers and then took out the rest of his minions, like Sheeva and then utterly crushed Shao!
Aftermath[]
With Shao and most of his minions dead, Chernobog became the new, supreme ruler of Outworld and merged it with the Never Never Land. Lord Shinnok, the ruler of the Never Land, was surprisingly happy and seemingly proud of Chernobog, despite the fact he just killed Shao, one of his closest allies. Chernobog didn't pay much attention to his compliments, saying he's weak as a ruler for he can't take over Earth and never had the guts to conquer Outworld. Shinnok, greatly offended, told Chernobog to mind his tongue but the Black God, being much stronger than the Fallen God, levitated him into the air and threw him into the Pit of Judecca where Shinnok is still burning. Those members of the Brotherhood who served loyally to Shinnok, stood up to Chernobog, but they were useless against him and joined their master in the Pit, while some of them were thrown into different rivers and creeks of lava.
King Clurkicus was angry that Chernobog just took out his own creator and charged at the Unholy Father. Chernobog just crushed him with falling, burning boulders from the sky. Lucius Wagner, the son of Shinnok, surprisingly (or maybe not, considering how evil everyone in Hell is) did not wish to avenge his father and left him suffering in the Pit. Chernobog, in fact, saw this as a perfect opportunity to put himself on the throne of the Never Land and rule it, even awarding Lucius with thousands if not millions of souls he harvested himself for his devouring. Lucius from then on served Chernobog.

What is known about Chernobog all throughout the planets is his lust for power, and the fact that his men, sorcerers, minions and demons love ranting and whispering his name. According to Queen Almeida's prophecy, it is certain is that Chernobog's dominion will one day encompass the dimensions of the entire Universe and he will fight her, and probably Azazel for ultimate power. However, even then, either the One Being or Azathoth will arrive to conquer all of reality. Chernobog knows this, but doesn't give a dam. He is the Dark God, denizens of Hell and other worlds call him King of Darkness, Črni Bog, The Dark Lord, (Our) Unholy Father, King of the Flies, and numerous other nicknames. His presence among us gives all of us fright into our bones, every creature living or dead shall learn the meaning of eternal servitude to him, either willingly or unwillingly. Chernobog WILL find you.
Powers and abilities[]
Chernobog is one of the most powerful beings in the Never Never Land, if not even in the entire existence, as he was able to overthrow both Clurkicus and Shinnok, rulers of the dead planet in seconds and even Queen Almeida seems powerless to stop him. He can just use magick to do anything he wants. He can also strike lightning or light bolts from his palms or hands, meaning he has some of the thunder bastard, Raiden's powers ashwell. He can probably shot fire from his hands as well. He is very evil being a Demonic God of the Never Land, although he is still just a little less evil as Shinnok, Clurkicus or perhaps even Quan Chi.
He has no wish to go to other planets, rule them or even rule the Never Land herself, making him less of a threat than the aforementioned baddies. He can control black magick and minions belonging to the Brotherhood of Shadow and his own minions do his bidding when he needs them to, implying he is a highly respected and revered God in the dark kingdom. When at his full height, he can grab mountain peaks and throw them all around the planet if he wishes. Similar to Glutko, he can also use the spruce trees as a weapon and stab his victims with 'em or impale them on 'em.
Personality and traits[]
Chernobog, despite possessing a dominant personality and being the overlord of the Dark Mountains, has little desire to rule the entire dark, lava planet, but rather, reality itself and all the other planets, whom he deems more worthy than the Never Land, for the Never Never Land is just fire & brimstone. Ruling over and torturing the unfortunate souls and victims of the Mountainous range is nothing but ordinary for him. He shows no mercy to his opponents, even if they rule his realm, like Shinnok and his pink, littel puppet. He likes fast food from McDonald's and says that if or when Ronald McDonald comes to Hell, he'll give him a warm welcome, although considering his dark nature, none of us really knows what he meant by that. Oh and he also likes Richard McDonald. Despite being Pure Evil and having a black heart (if he even has it to begin with), he can also be a bit comedic, like when he threw a temper tantrum like a spoiled brat when the waitress at the local McDonald's forgot to bring him some coffee to go with his veggie berger.

- Unlike the... biblical version of Dark Gods, Fallen Archangels and Demons, who were once servants of god in the Heavens only to be cast down, Chernobog, like many others, was actually born in Hell, making it even more of a threat to Heavens, knowing that life actually exists there on it's own.
- Carmine Varotto listed Chernobog as the 3rd most badass villain he ever saw.
- Contrary to popular belief, Chernobog does not represent the Lord Satan or Hades, for Satan is himself on his own. Chernobog is just one of the many of the popular archdemons ruling in Hell who hold immense power. In fact, the Devil does not exist on this Wiki as that is for real life and that's why it is sometimes difficult to understand why no demon represents HIM.
- Chernobog means "Black God" in Russian and sounds similar in other Slavic languages.
- He has nuffin' to do with the Russian Nazi, Ivan Chernobov.
- Queen Almeida does not approve of him destroying Shinnok and killing Shao Kahn, but is she powerful enough to stop Chernobog and revive back time? Probably, but only time will tell.
- He goes to sleep like a bat, covering himself with his large wings and then sleeping.
