White Anglo-Saxon Protestants (often abbreviated as WASPs) are just as their name states. They can be either lower, middle, or upper-class. However, historically, lower-class WASPs were given more rights than non-WASPs, but less rights than middle and upper-class WASPs. WASPs often belong to the Aryan race, and have blonde or red hair, light eyes, and soft features. However, this isn't always the case. Many British, Scottish, Welsh, Northern Irish, Germans, Dutch, and Scandinavians are WASPs.
