Heroes who are not Pure Good or even Near Pure Good but just a step above the standard level of good. Although it may seem that they sometimes use methods that seem unethical, it is only necessary for the greater outcome. Also, taking the term literally, inconsistently means that sometimes they are represented as doing good, even though one would typical associate these characters as a villain.

Sometimes, they can also be Inconsistently Heinous as villains.
