An antagonist is a character, group of characters, institution or concept that stands in or represents opposition against the protagonist(s) and wishes to ruin them somehow in any way possible. In other words, an antagonist is a person or a group of people who oppose a protagonist at any way possible. There are currently 718 villains on this Wiki but ONLY 355 protagonists. Really tells you how evil everyone is.
