Carlito Borrego is a minor character featured in Red Dead Redemption part II The Mexican Revolution, part IV Undead Nightmare and Red Dead Revolver 3dn edition.

Carlito is a soldier in the Mexican Army. He is said to have been a very angry and sadistic individual, who enjoyed using any sort of excuse to punish his enemies severely.

Revolver[]
Private Borrego is encountered during several missions. His first appearance is in the mission "Jail Escape", where he and some other soldiers are patrolling the entrance to the mine. He appears again during the battle at Fort Mercer in the mission of the same name. His final appearance is on board Agustin Allende's armoured train, where he is killed by Jack Marston. Borrego was the soldier operating the train.
Mexican Revolution[]
Carlito can be found in El Presidio, doing his patrols with the other soldiers. If the player commits a crime, Borrego will pursue the player around Nuevo Paraíso.
Undead Nightmare[]
In Undead Nightmare, Carlitos can be found defending Torquemada, where he is on the roof of one of the small houses. If Carlito survives, he will stay on the roof of the same house.
Journal Entry[]
If Carlitos Borrego was anything, he was an angry man. He raged, taunted and shoot people. Once I saw him knock out his friend with a single punch, Wilfredo Arrabal, during a card game in which Carlito was losing. Despite Arrabal being physically tougher than Carlitos and higher-ranking, he seemed to fear him. But at the end it was Carlitos who got raged at and taunted - by none other than Jack Marston himself.

- He shares a character model with Juan.
- His surname is Spanish for "sheep" from which we get his nickname sheep.
- He is one of two Mexican Army soldiers to be playable in Redemption, the other being his friend of sorts, Wilfredo Arrabal.
- In the current timeline (original Revolver) his role was portrayed by Jose Hernandez.
