"Sure, it's okay to respect things from other cultures, but in America you don't have to! You see boys and girls, America is a melting pot of ideas and races where cultures mix together! And if your teacher does indeed say otherwise, well your teacher is pinko hippy living in the la-la land! Here's the thing, a lot of foreign countries, safe for those in Europe, are evil dictatorships hell-bent on destroying the freedoms that we hold dear. Just look at for example, China, Vietnam, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, Russia, Algeria and Uganda."
— Captain Capitalism's advice of the day

Captain Capitalism is the personification of the United States of America and the nephew of Uncle Sam himself. He is the saviour and the representation of America itself and values freedom above else.

He is, or was, the arch-rival of the long dead Karl Marx, who is known is Captain Communism.

Info[]

Captain Capitalism might as well have been born on July 4th, 1776/234 BH, the same day the Deceleration of Independence was signed by the American Founding Fathers, which included Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Edward Morgan I and Alex Hamilton.

Brash, strong, freedom-loving, confident, unrelenting but intelligent, Captain Capitalism inherited the best traits the country of America had to offer and made the most of them. He is the actual true Superhero of the country, not Superman or Captain America, although they're not too far behind.

CC brought himself up by his own bootstraps and started working at a factory in Ohio for years. He was in very good relations with his co-workers, superiors and his boss, and finally, he climbed the corporal ladder up to the position of CEO and thus achieved the true "American Dream".

Indeed, Captain Capitalism is the living embodiment that anyone can achieve greatness if they work hard enough. He then spread his wisdom of what he learned from his factory days to other nations around America and the world and explained how he achieved the status he has today and how to truly run a business like in a monopoly game.

Not too long ago, he has even become a political adviser to people like Dick Cheney, Lucas Borlinghathen and even Carmella Ford. Or at least he tried to advise Cheney and Borlinghathen on how to run the country better, but they didn't really succeed. Ford only became president in an alt. timeline.

Captain Capitalism admitted that if he had it his way, he'd go to North Outworld personally to deal with Shao Kahn and destroy him or his entire planet once and for all. However, he claims that the bleeding heart politicians, even back then when Nixon and B. Johnson were in charge, didn't allow him to do so. However I assume he actually had some fear in his pants of Shao. But that is totally understandable.

Captain C. also claims he was was once friends with Barry Goldwater, but gets along better with Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Thomas Massie, Jo Jorgensen, Gary Johnson, Chase Oliver, Chris Christie, Michael Bennet and Justin Amash. He is also an on-off friend of Mark Jackson. Most of his allies, so to speak, include libertarian politicians.

Beliefs[]

"Freedom over tyranny, freedom over war and freedom over control! Never quit. Never surrender! That's me! Superhero 1#!"
— Captain Capitalism's motto

Economically, Cap'n Capitalism's belief is that of a free market economic, based on the work ethic, private ownership, innovation and entrepreneurship of each and every individual. He claims that it is in the best interest that investments of capital, production, distribution, income, and prices are determined not by government, but through the operation of a competitive market where decisions are voluntary, free and private rather than regulated and mandated by governments, which can in turn lead to the government having too much power, thus leading the country on the road to tyranny.

As the defender of American values, freedom and of course, capitalism, CC believes in fair competition, which helps maintain market value for goods and services. However, he knows that unrestrained or corny/crony capitalism may sometimes create a negative feedback if too big companies get to choose everything, thus making it an unfair environment, like the case of Dr. Jason Norris, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, or even Henri Dixmor, despite his de-facto control over the world and friendship with Colonel Freedom. He also primarily believes in local businesses that are privately owned and claims that the president's first priority, no matter if they're Republican or Democrat, should be to support local and small businesses over the big ones, which seldom happens. He also believes in local farms over factory farms. He certainly opposes government-owned farms and thinks China shouldn't own even half an inch of American farmland!

Captain Capitalism also despises wind power and is an advocate for coal, nuclear or oil as a source of energy. However, he certainly believes Saudi Arabia should keep their grubby little hands off of American oil whether they're our allies or not.

Political Policies[]

  • Abortion: Pro, especially if the parents or parent is a commie scum
  • Racial equality: Pro, naturally
  • LGBT rights: Pro
  • Subsidised healthcare: Anti
  • Gun control: Anti
  • Ideology: Libertarianism/Centrism
  • Economic Policy: Capitalism, preferably Laissez Faire
  • Religious Policy: None, probably secular
  • War Policy: Pro Military
  • Tax cuts for the wealthy: Usually pro
  • Protecting the environment: Neutral

Trivia[]

  • CC bares some resemblance to Superman, like his hairstyle, Mitt Romney, like his chiselled jawline and face, Captain America, like his patriotism and duty, Major Glory, like his outfit and Son of a Gun, like his methods and ideology.
  • His workout routine includes no masturbation, getting to sleep early, push-ups, lifting, running and squatting.
  • It is unknown if he is aware of Henri Dixmor or the Dixmor Project's end goals. However, since he's the ever the opportunist, he may be aware but decides to go with it. United States of America was always the land of freedom to decide how you want and the freedom of opportunity after all, something Mr. Americus knows all too well.
  • During World War II, he was an adviser of John J. Barrel of the American Army and counted on him in defeating King Leon the Conqueror. As expected, it was a safe bet and America and the Allies eventually won the war.
  • He is called Captain Crapitalism by haters. Not just his haters, but haters of freedom in general.
  • He supports the Supreme court's decision for death penalty, as he believes, as the American creed does, "we kill people who kill people, because killing people is wrong."
  • During the American Civil War, he was an abolitionist and helped the Union defeat the Confederacy. Abe Lincoln also had a portrait of him in his bedroom.
  • Captain Capitalism is also an advocate for hunting, fishing and logging as long as they're done responsibly, non-brutally and the prey in question isn't endangered. He thinks groups such as PETA, Greenpeace, the HSUS, ELF and ALF should shove off but supports the Izaak Walton League, the National Audubon Society, the Wilderness Society, the National Wildlife Federation and Ducks Unlimited.
  • Gage thinks he's pretty based.
  • Captain Capitalism’s personality type is ESTJ (extroverted, sensing, thinking and judging).
  • He condemns the Native American genocide caused by the British, Spaniards and Portuguese. He much preferred how the French and the Dutch traded furs and other goods with Native Americans, viewing it far more in line with true capitalism. He also claims that while he didn't support Black Elk Tribe's sellout to Javier Diego and Mayor Griffon, he understands why they did it. He was also not a fan of Andrew Jackson or Martin van Buren's policies.
  • He views Donald Trump’s trade wars with China, Mexico and Canada as unnecessary and forced inflation as well as a blatant attack on free trade. He also views it as essentially no different than the inflation caused by Joe Biden or Putin and even a continuation of it.
    • Also, he is not a fan of Frank Kenson's racist and otherwise xenophobic authoritarianism. He claims that his attitude is that of a spoiled child who thinks the entire world is his playground and who wishes to conquer other planets.
  • He believes that Mexicans, Africans, Asians, Cubans and other immigrants should be allowed to come to the USA as long as they can speak English and are here to work rather than live off the government, rape or commit crimes. If they prefer to live off of welfare, they should move to some other place, like Germany.
  • The Star-spangled Sentinel also made a cameo in one of Splendid's hero comics, where he was at a gathering of superheroes or something.
