Brooklyn's map.
Brooklyn is a borough of New York City, located at the westernmost end of Long Island in New York. Formerly an independent city with lots of gang violence, the borough is coextensive with Kings County, one of twelve original counties established under British rule in 1683/317 BH in the then Province of New York by Edward Morgan I. As of 20 AH, the population stands at 2,736,074, making it the most populous of the five boroughs of NYC, and the most populous county in the state.
New York in general is the most populous city in the US, followed by Los Angeles, Shikako and Houston, Texas.
The city plays a lore in the Horrible lore, composed of Abigail Peppercorn's adventures against Vic Horrible.

A portrait of Brooklyn.
Description[]
Named after the Dutch town of Breukelen in the Netherlands in Urop, Brooklyn shares a land border with the borough and county of Queens and Gotham City (and I bring it on to Queens!). It has several bridge and tunnel connections to the borough of Manhattan, across the East River with its famous Brooklyn Bridge standing tall. It's connected to Staten Island by way of the Verrazzano-Narrows bridge as well.
Brooklyn was in fact founded by the Dutch in the 17th century and grew into a busy port city on New York Harbour by the 19th century, compliments of Martin van Buren himself. On January 1, 1898/102 BH, after a long political campaign, battle and public relations war during the 1890's and despite opposition from Brooklyn residents, Brooklyn was consolidated in and annexed (along with other areas) to form the current five borough structure of New York City in accordance to the new municipal charter of the "Greater New York". These other boroughs however, must not be mistaken to be Little Italy, Hell's Kitchen, Gotham or Harlem. Instead, the boroughs are Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, and the Bronx. The borough continues to maintain some distinct culture, but may also be riddled with crime, like gang wars, mafia wars or corrupted police. Many Brooklyn neighbourhoods are ethnic melting pots and few people there are outside of the diverse zone. Most common ethnic groups there are Afro-Americans, Jews, Italians (or Italian-Americans), Mexicans and of course, white Americans. Brooklyn's official motto, displayed on the borough seal and flag like many others, is "Eendraght Maeckt Maght", which translates from early Dutch as 'Unity makes strength'. This would imply that wokeness is forever welcomed in Brooklyn and diversity is it's greatest strength.
Educational institutions in Brooklyn include the City University of New York's Brooklyn College, Medgar Evers College, College of Technology, as well as New York University Tandon School of Engineering. In sports, basketball's Brooklyn Nets, and New York's Liberty plays at the Barclays Center.
Horrible Guide[]
Brooklyn was first colonised by settlers from the Netherlands. Many settlers (usually farmers) headed west instead to search their luck while the aristocrats stayed. Established as a town in 180 BH after being a smelly swamp hole for a while, and a mining area six miles north was abandoned, it was incorporated as a city in 150 BH, and the first large wave of Europeans arrived during the 160's BH, with a second wave in the 120's BH, which included the Cornet clan and the then-head, Jacob Cornet. A proposed giant railroad funded by the early Cornets, never materialised, partly due to funding, but also because of the number of swamps in the area. The Brooklyn Bridge was completed in 107 BH, and by 1898, or rather 102 BH, the city (which was annexing surrounding towns) comprised more than 1.1 million residents and got it's name after the famous vegetable, coloured green, when a famous vegetable farmer became the top buddy-buddy with the then-president, Milliam WcKinley. Haha, just kidding, it actually got it's name from a place in Holland. This was a Victor joke. Brooklyn remains one of New York’s most populous boroughs and one of its most famous cities. It is the home of the “rag-tag” Peppercornies: a loutish and unprofessional but very violent cult of minions belonging to Abigail Peppercorn. On another note, it is also the billed location of the current Don of the Barzini Family, Scarface and the top wrestler who works for Damien Thorn, Big Daddy $.
Oh, and it was also the location of Niko Bellic and Roman Bellic's war with the Faustin Family and later the Stillwater Agency, amongst other places and against other gangsters, like William Borlinghathen.
