"Don't talk to me, I'm expected elsewhere. You join the wrong family, my friend."
— Bobby Toro

Roberto "Big" Bobby Toro was a Capo in the Stracci Family of France City, and he came to France when he was only five years old. In 2011, after years of service in the Stracci family, he was murdered by Corleone Underboss Charlie Trapani. He is a minor villain in The Godfather Game.

Biography[]

Toro was born in Miami, Florida, to two farmers from the south and made a living. To escape from their debt problems, they immigrated to France, where Toro learned some French and became a citizen. However, his parents were sent back to USA after failing the citizenship test, and they were imprisoned for one year in return for tax evasion back in America. Toro was brought up by his father-like figure, Francesco Barzini, and lived in Mid Town, the richest neighbourhood of France, after Nice and Paris. He found a job as a janitor at Victor's Hotel soon after he grew up. In 2006, he met William Stracci, and the two became friends quickly. He joined the Stracci family, which ran operations around New Town and had factories in Old Town. Bobby was such a good capo in his crime family, which made Don Emilio Barzini thought he could use a man such as Toro to help him rule Mid Town. Toro, however said that he will rather still work for Straccis, but was very much respected by Barzinis, and Emilio also called him "my own brother". Toro was known to be exceptionally cruel to his victims, as once murdering a barber with his own shaving tools, and forcing a bartender to drink so much beer until he choked. However, despite that, Toro was also a man who took mercy, as he once let an assassin who tried to kill him live, as assassin begged for mercy. Bobby even let him join the Barzini family. In 2010, Bobby married Emilio Barzini's own sister, Carla Barzini, and had two children with her; Umberto Toro and Carmine Barzini.

Death[]

"Don Barzini is trying to hide Big Bobby Toro, his brother-in-law and Stracci main Capo, by putting him in the lunatic asylum prison for a few months. You need to break into the Mid Town Police Station Precinct they're holding him in, and make sure he never makes it there."
Al Neri to Trapani

In 2011, he was scheduled for a transfer to France City Penitentiary from the FCPD Mid Town Police Station, guarded by several FCPD officers. Rival mobster Al Neri of the Corleone Family sanctioned a hit on him to break the Straccis off from their police protection in Mid Town, and family Underboss Charlie Trapani drove to the police station, where Toro was awaiting the police. Trapani charged him and put one shot through his head with a Street Sweeper, killing him. No police officers were harmed in the hit, as they were bribed to stay out of the affair, and the Straccis lost their police protection.
