The Battle against the Dark Cloud (also known as the Battle against the Apocalypse Countdown, Battle against the Unholy Trinity, and the Unholy Campaign) is a campaign of the Super War.

Prelude

As a result of the Grandfather Paradox Incidents, Felicity's frequent "awakenings" and official awakening, and Kjatow's death; the combination of Temporal Energy, Celestial Energy, and Life-Force energy created a crack in space and time allowing Kokabiel to open the gates of Hell and rift to Loki being opened.

Viktoria turned on the WOLFHOUND Empire after her brother Viktor was mercy-killed by David Sinister. All three form the Unholy Trinity with the goal of conquering the Multiverse.

Campaign

Felicity was transferred back to the Royal WOLFHOUND Corps of WOLFHOUND's Marine Corps to rejoin the 77th Royal Marine Regiment while David briefly relieves himself of command from Task Force Super to meet with an "advisor" who turns out to be Death followed by a meeting with Gabriel. After the Battle of Albany (Australia) David retook command of Task Force Super while inviting his father to join.

Aftermath

Due to the erasure of Lucifer; one of the major factors of the Apocalypse; the Apocalypse is no longer considered necessary is pushed back for 1 centillion years.

Following the campaign; the Purgatory-born Demons, Dark Elves, and Watcher Angels were all wiped out while massive environmental damage was inflicted to Australia. Rachael is made an Archangel following Kokabiel's erasure and Viktoria commits suicide to avoid being captured by the Hunters.
