"By the time we reached the Temple, Azazel's demonic forces were already stationed out about front. This could mean Amethyst's after the same thing as I'm after: Death of the Egyptian demon for his wickedness and crimes against the Boomer Gods, plus he's a threat in general. Maybe Zafina's legend about the two dark stars clashing wasn't so wrong at all, but the thing about legends and myths is that they aren't a mirror of the future, like at all, rather of the past, just look at the Jersey Devil. They're just filmsy predictions, not connected and I know a hell of a lotta ways to disprove predictions and minors. The only ones fit to shape the future... are... well, I hope to God that it ain't Azazel."
Lars Alexandersson explaining some simple sith to Raven

Azazel's Temple is the final boss stage in Tekken 6 Scenario Campaign mode, and also the location of Azazel's Throne Room. This stage is where the fight with one the game's final bosses, Azazel, takes place in Scenario Campaign.

In the normal Arcade mode, the Throne Room is Azazel's final stage.

Overview[]

Azazel's Temple is hidden within a secret valley on East Orinion so that the normal residents of the planet leave the Dark Lord alone while he is slumbering in his dark chambers. The entrance to the big valley is hewed into cliffs and with two enormous front-facing Azazel-like statues on either side the entrance.

Azazel's Temple is large, almost, if not even bigger, as the Pyramid of Azazel and a wide stone staircase bordered by Azazel statues (with a more human-like head) lead up large steps to a plateau where a wide flat courtyard is found filled with diamonds and statues of devilish-looking figures. This is bordered by a wall and winged statues of Horus. The temple here is a series of cuboid buildings with a heavily ornamented portico and images with Azazel and his two forms around it, running along the front and a columned open space leading up to the steps of the main door with a small gnome-like statue of Ichabod Crane.

The insides of the temple are guarded by Living Gargoyles and a bunch of assassins who used to work for Crane in Azazel's Pyramid. The temple includes a bedroom with many beds for Azazel's restless men and a dining room plus a supply room so his demonic gargoyles can recharge their energy. There are also two staircases leading to the basement while another two or three lead upwards. There are also two living rooms and two rooms with large, gold-like rugs on the floor plus a secret sarcophagus room. Finally, there are also some rooms whose functions in the temple is unknown, a balcony and lastly, the praying room where Azazel's worshippers come to sit in full circle and pray to the Rectifier of All Things.

Up the stairs is an interior corridor bordered by decorated columns, looking like Egyptian gods. On either side of the corridor are pools of unholy, but blue water, and beyond these are enormous seated Ra and Horus statues, if not even one of Azazel himself. These are sunken into the water, so that only Ra's bust is above the water. There are also busts of Ichabod Crane and Governor Kravendish around the room, being protected by the Orinionian Royal Militia. Blue flames are all around the chamber, I suppose. At the middle of the chamber are large steps which lead into Azazel's Throne Room and if you wonder how that place looks, check out its page.

If Azazel kills any of his challengers here, he will throw their bodies to his living Gargoyles so they may feast, or will carry his victims' corpses to the dining room where he will eat the fuakers raw.

During his battle with Amethyst and Lars Alexandersson, Azazel emerges out of his temple from below the ground only to fall down the abyss below when Amethyst attacks him with her super strength. Whichever the case, both fighters survived the ordeal.

Journal Entry[]

For a while, I really thought the truth was lost but now I see that the beast known as Azazeru has been victorious over Alexandersson and Amethyst. Luckily, Amethyst survived, she was an inch away from dying in that abyss, controlled by Azazel, probably. I heard this... this Temple of the Dark Lord has been here for ages, ever since the beast arrived on this planet after its battle with the Gods. Along with his pyramid and other places of worship, this Temple has represented his powers over the planet well.

Known owners[]

  • Owner: Azazel
  • Residents: Azazel, Ichabod Crane (sometimes), Governor Kravendish (sometimes), Prince Charlie (sometimes), Living Gargoyles, Orinionian Royal Militia
  • Known people who desire to control it: Probably Amethyst or Zafina

Trivia[]

  • Azazel's Temple contains many depictions of him and other Egyptian deities and even some of his servants, but mostly his. However, that is understandable given he is an egomaniacal god or demon.
  • Using this stage as Jin Kazama in Arcade, Azazel and Jin will have a small tea party before going to battle.
  • Azazel's Throne Room can be seen through an eyehole on the main gates of his chamber.
  • It is unknown where some of Azazel's demonic gargoyles even come from as even if all of them have been defeated, new ones will spawn from thin air.
  • Only Amethyst and Lars Alexandersson's fights with Azazel here are canon.
  • Zafina is one of the few Orinionians to be against Azazel and to known of this Temple's location.
