Antonio "da King" Cadena was a Mexican drug addict, and a Marina Family mob boss, who was killed in prison by Red Dragon Triads assassins.
Biography[]
Cadena was born in Chuparosa in 1937, and joined the Marina Family in 1980. With help of Rafael Molosco he stabbed a man to death in 1982 near the Saloon Juarez dancehall in NY, and he was imprisoned in Olaf's Federal Penitentiary. While he was in jail, he impressed members of the Mexican gang, especially after murdering a prisoner who was about to rape him - he stabbed him to death in front of 1000 prisoners in the yard. With Joe Morgan, he terrorised other gangs and had an uneasy alliance with The Skulls, and they also made a relationship with the Red Dragon Triads. However, this angered Skulls members, so Cadena murdered two Triad members at the shower block. The guards saw him, and he was in jail for his murder for about next 10 years. He was taunted by Chinese, and told that his time would come. After the death of Raul Marina II, he was currently the boss of Marina family, but still imprisoned.
Death[]
While in jail, rather than go into protective custody, he chose to go out fighting. One day, some Triads hitmen stabbed him 50 times in the stomach and threw him off a three-story balcony, killing him. He was buried in Bakersfield, California.
