In Eastern Duro |
Rumours of the reappearance of the Azure Knight have cast a dark shadow across Eastern Duro. This time, even the Birds of Passage were a little frightened by his mutated appearance which was seen standing near this Shrine.
Nevertheless, the Birds are not to be taken lightly, they will protect the Shrine of their master at all costs. The Shrine's twisting passageways confuse the sense of direction, and in the dark, wet labyrinth-like rooms await Owl man's assassins to kill all those who dare to enter.
Those who constructed this Shrine have long since disappeared from the land of the living, and there is no way to know for what purpose it was built. But in any case this shrine was taken over by the Birds of Passage when their grandmaster demanded to have a temple.
Alcadan's Shrine actually has four variants of fighting stages: the gateway (where Yun-seong is fought) the corridor (where Miser is usually fought), the dark room (which is a room in which everything is pure black and where Greed is fought) and the main hall, also known as Alcadan's place of worship where Alcadan himself is fought. Many horse and bird-related sculptures can be found located on the walls of the Shrine.
It is the only stage in the game that has up to four variants.
