Agustine Cornet is a minor character featured in Red Dead Redemption part III, The New Life.
He is a member of the wealthy Cornet Dynasty.

Agustine Cornet was born in England, but he immigrated to the United States of America, settling in Brimstone, Mississippi before moving out to Gold Town, West Virginia with his gambling skill. Known to be a heavy gambler from a young age, he hosted various parties at the Gold Town Saloon and the Brimstone Saloon amongst other places. Cornet became a businessman who was allied with Jacques Dixmor in a way, and he was protected by eagle-eyed bodyguards who could spot a gun from a mile away, compliments of Jacques himself. Agustine married Lilian Ross in 1859/141 BH and had twelve children with her, with Jason Cornet being the oldest and they all worked for Mayor Griffon of Brimstone as his agents and bodyguards.

Agustine can usually be found playing poker in the Gold Town Hotel at the High Stakes Poker table. He is very wealthy, and talks about how he may buy expensive things on a whim; "I may soon purchase a car... for weekend trips and such. Or maybe even my own boat, or another mansion". He also often talks about Fallen Creek and the Indian Gang that occupies it. Agustine can also sometimes be found walking around the Gold Town saloon, or the streets. However, he more commonly appears at the hotel's first floor, sitting on one of the comfy-s chairs.
Death[]
He was killed by a German squadron during WW I when he made a trip to Wiemar Germany, but got captured because it was believed that he was hiding British intelligence and refused to cooperate.
Trivia[]
- Cornet wears the same outfit as Ralph Dutton, with the exception that Agustine also sports a fancy bow tie.
- There are several quotes which indicate he is scared of Marston. He often says these at the poker table: even when Marston himself is playing. He is also very eager to apologise if he walks into Marston, John or Jack.
- However, he might fight back at Marston if the latter attacks him or call the Gold Town Police Department to take care of him.
- Almost all of his sons died before he did in Red Dead Revolver. How he dealt with all of this grief is unknown.
- Lili Cornet and Jeffrey Cornet both have a portrait of him in their bedrooms.
- He voted for Aldous Warthington for the senate and was a member of the Democratic party, although not an active one.
