"And now young Rain... You will die."
— Abraxas to Primce Rain before his men execute him

Abraxas is a demonic creature with Gnostic and Kabbalistic origins, but he serves as one of the lords of Hell or the Never Never Land and can be summoned by the conjurer. The seven letters baring his name represent either the 7 planets we know or 7 planets found in fiction, on this marvellous Wiki.

Info[]

The fearful and cowardly followers of Gait once saw the demon Abraxas and due to their fear, deemed him an angry, heretical and Pagan god, but the fact that he was actually a demon would only be documented years later by Jacques Collin Agustus de Plancy, in his book Infernal Dictionary, but even there Abraxas would labelled as the "Supreme God" of the Basilidians, whom the church described as "heretics of the second century". Collin indicated the Basilidians attributed Abraxas the rule over "365 skies", "365 days" and "365 virtues", meaning he carried a very tough job on his shoulders, like that human David Paredes, but the two aren't to be compared at all. De Plancy also states that Abraxas is above jesus, but that ain't too surprising, since everyone is deez days.

Abraxas is a demon who has a vast number of engraved stones, to which the name "Abrasax-stones" has long been given. Judging that our fat demonic fellow Abraxas has Greek roots, one can assume the Greek metal band Rotting Christ, amongst others without a doubt, has these stones in their treasury.

Abraxas also has many forms, the most common one being a fat demon with a crown, long nose and a cute face, and snakes for feet who loves him some treasures, just like Mario the Phantom. The other known form is that of a rooster with snakes for legs, wielding a sword, malice and sun itself in the other hand.

Abraxas' Temple[]

There are parts on Outworld and even on other planets where Temples are built to the demon Lord Abraxas. They can most commonly be found in dark areas of the 7 planets, where sun rarely shines, perhaps that is why he is wielding the Sun.

Abraxas is served on high plains by his denizens and snakes of all kind. The Demon King will sometimes even send the mysterious and feared Xacarbas (his servant with similar name) to aid his most devoted and noble followers by speaking secrets that have long been, at best, forgotten or to guard his largest temples. He can also reveal which conspiracy theory is true and which one is a lie and explain how exactly the Earth works.

On the brighter note, Abraxas can also be summoned by a sorcerer or the conjurer who is seeking forbidden knowledge at any price, even the death of all those they love and devouring of their soul. Abraxas tolerates no rivals and no other masters, except those who are above him. Abraxas is known to be worshiped in the Darklands on Outworld and his followers have slaughtered the Kahn Family, Shao Kahn's adoptive son, Rain, being brought to him personally and then executed by his servants. On the surface, Abraxas' following is particularly strong and like all rulers, he demands a lot of obedience from his servants and their wishes or favours can be granted with them doing something big for Him in return. Easy.

Trivia[]

  • His name is where the magick word "Abracadabra" comes from.
  • Some books mistakenly considers him Asian, although that ain't too surprising sinse these Hellish things are rather hard to understand, but I assure you that him being Asian is probably a pisstake.
  • Unlike most demons and lords of Hell, Abraxas has no connection to the Dixmor Project.
  • He gets a lot of his riches from the Coin Lord, Kochal.
