Template:BE TemplateBaby Bach is the 3rd Baby Einstein video in the series. It was released on December 6, 1998, despite the original tape claiming to be copyrighted in 1999 and was later reissued that same year. It is the second music episode from the series and includes the classical music of Johann Sebastian Bach, and colorful toys from the 90's. It was one of the 10 videos to be created by Julie Aigner-Clark. In 2000, the sound design for Baby Bach was updated by Bill Weisbach. A new Baby Bach CD came out when the sound design was updated. Later in 2004, Disney re-released the video with some of the toys replaced for new ones.

Trivia[]
- This is the first video to have classical music by Johann Sebastian Bach.
- This is the first video to be filmed in Colorado after Julie Aigner-Clark and her family moved out from Georgia in 1998.
- This is the first Baby Einstein video with Mark Burr.
- This is the only video to have classical music by Christian Petzold.
- This is the first Baby Einstein video to have an epilogue and a toy clip after the credits.
- Despite, the Minuet in G (BWV Anh. 114) being featured in this video and BE referring it as a Bach piece, this piece was actually composed by Christian Petzold. Petzold only attributed the piece to Bach as part of his wife's music notebook for her keyboard lessons. However, for a very long time since then, Bach still gets most of the credit for some reason.
- There are two versions of this piece on the CDs, one of them has the second part played with a guitar. This version is found on every version of the Baby Bach CD as well as the 1999 version of Bedtime Classics. The other version replaces the guitar with a vibraphone. This version is found on the 2000 version of Bedtime Classics, the Language Nursery CD, Lullaby Classics and Naptime Melodies.
- Footage from this video was reused in the Baby Mozart, World of Colors, and Baby Lullaby Discovery Kits.
- Highlights from the video, plus other tracks, can be heard in the Baby Bach CD: A Concert for Little Ears and the audiocassette.
- The 1998-1999 version Tune-Up is the same one used in Baby Mozart.
- In the 1998 version, the Magic Show Pendulum Clock had two different angles and in the 1998-1999 version, both Wind-Up Clowns are operating at the same time.
- Baby Bach is one of the only videos that doesn't use Baby Einstein puppets, at least those made by Legends and Lore, because there are a few puppets in the video (like the Zylon Dragon who was actually made by Manhattan Toy, the Octopus Puppet, Dinosaur Egg Puppet, and Snowy Owl Puppet who were actually made by Folkmanis) that weren't made by L&L and thus aren't considered to be BE puppets.
- In some foreign releases, the scenes featuring Aspen (Aspen's chicken joke, and her questioning the crew at the end.) are cut out.

- In this case, this is the only music episode not to have this concept whatsoever.
- In the initial 1998 and 1999 releases on VHS and CD, Bill Weisbach used MIDI files to compose the music. However, when Family Home Entertainment acquired Baby Einstein in 2000, he recomposed the pieces by hand.
- This was the only video to be produced by Aigner-Clark Productions before the company renamed itself to The Baby Einstein Company in February 1999.
- This video was originally going to be produced by I Think I Can Productions, but as Julie Aigner-Clark had renamed the company to Aigner-Clark Productions, she had her newly renamed studio work on Baby Bach. In February 1999, she changed the name of her company from Aigner-Clark Productions to The Baby Einstein Company.
- This video received neither a 10th Anniversary nor a Discovery Kit release due to a mostly mixed reception. If it did however, it would have new puppet scenes with PlaySoup puppets (including the Bach rabbit by PlaySoup with a vest), and possibly replace Aspen's chicken joke with a new puppet show and use newer clips in the music videos.
- This video and Lullaby Time were the basis of Baby Lullaby.
- Some of the pieces in this video were later reused in Baby Lullaby.
- The 2000-2002 DVD has music from the Baby Bach Concert for Little Ears CD with Bedtime and Playtime. It has the same music as the CD enclosed on the 2000 VHS. However, Wachet Auf Ruft Uns Die Stimme BWV 140 after Toccata in D Minor used during the "Robots Awake" skit isn't on the Baby Bach Concert for Little Ears CD, but it's on the Baby Bach Soundtrack CD enclosed on the 2001-2002 VHS. In the Soundtrack CD, it has every piece from the video except for Flute Sonata in E Flat BWV 1031 3rd Movement, because the 1st Movement of that piece takes place as an alternative on the Soundtrack CD. Some 2003 copies come with the 2002 Baby Bach Soundtrack CD on the VHS because the 2003 VHS is the same as 2002, besides the cover. However, in the CD enclosed on the 2004 VHS, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring BWV 147 by Johann Sebastian Bach is the only piece to be on the Baby Einstein Musical Audio Sampler CD enclosed on the 2004 VHS.
Goofs[]
- If you look super closely in the Jupiter Kinetic scene, you can see the reflection of the camera.
- The Light 'n Sound Fire Engine, the 1st clip of Atomic Robots, the last few milliseconds in the 2nd clip of Form S Kinetic, the 2nd clip of Cornelius the Dancing Chicken, the 2nd clip of Spinning Disco Ball, the Musical Carousel, the Sun Pendulum (White background version), and the Ford 57 Thunderbird clip were exported in 29.97fps, but in the 2004 version, it was exported in 59.94fps (However some of the toy clips were reshot in 2004 with the correct frame rate).
- In the 2nd Edition 1998 VHS, there is a glitch while transitioning from Dizzy Kitty to Aqua Fun Fish Tank, but however the 1st Edition Right Start 1998 VHS, the 1999 VHS and later releases didn't have that transition glitch.
- The Wind-Up Chicks and Crazy Train were shown in the Toys in Videos page in the Wayback Machine for some reason, but they were not shown in the video.
